Issue in Peroid split during demand transfer from SOP to PIR

Hi,

We use an user defined info structure where a fiscal year calendar is maintaied. In planning table(MC94), values are maintained in periods. While transferring the demand from SOP to PIR either using MC90 or through mass transfer, values are getting transferred in daily buckets instead of monthly buckets. We need the values to be appeared in monthly buckets.

Automatic perid split is maintained in configuration for 13 weeks and 16 weeks. Transfer is not appearing in monthly buckets even if we remove the Automatic period split assignment to MRP group.

What could be the reason for this change in periods from Periods to days? What is the main functionality in using Automatic split?

Regards,

Murali

Hi,

In Txn OMPA check for general split. If MRP group is assigned to a material then check the settings in OMPS. Enter the required allocation in these tables. Then periods will be transferred to Demand Management with the assigned splits. And also check Txn OMP7 at plant level for period set.

Hi Pavan,

Thanks for the response. As I mentioned earlier, we have maintained values(No. of wks = 16) in OMPH and is assigned to a MRP group in OMPS. Material is assigned with this MRP group. In this case values are appearing in weekly buckets. But we need the values to be appeared in months in PIR. This is not happening even if we reomve the MRP group in materia master.
