Hi all,
In my refurbishment orders I have two different cost blocks.
1. worker performance
2. machine performance
The worker performance is not the problem. The work will be confirmed via IW42.
But the machine performance is the problem:
In the refurbishment order is the number of parts/materials.
The idea is that I have a customizing table where I can see the costs for a specific machine per part.
Example: Order with quantity 8 and 3 operations
010 - Maschine1
020 - only Human
030 - Maschine3
Machine performance = 8 x Maschine1 + 8 x Maschine3
For each operation there will be a human performance confirmed (IW42). The machine costs should be confirmed automatically.
So I need one work center for the human performance and different work centers for the machines.
How to calculate and confirm the machine costs in the SAP standard?
regards
Hi Wolfgang Bauer,
Cant understand your reuirement clearly?? Will you pls give more details....
"The machine costs should be confirmed automatically. So I need one work center for the human performance and different work centers for the machines".......If does it so, then can you calculate machine cost from the work center created fot machine?..Wht is its purpose??

Hi,
The costs for the machine performance should also be absorbed to a cost center.
Forget the human performance. This doesn't matter.
Example:
Lets say we have 3 shifts at one day.
We have one refurbishment order with 5 parts of a specific material.
In the first shift one person inputs the parts into the machine.
In the third shift another person outputs the parts from the machine.
Now the person in the third shift does not know how long the machine was running in order to confirm the machine costs.
The idea is now that we calculate the machine costs for one part in the machine and specify this in a machine work center.
This will be done for every machine before a refurbishment order was created.
In the order you can see how many parts are prepared from the machine.
And then the calculation should be done:
Machine costs = 5 parts x Machine1 (work center of operation 1) +
5 parts x Machine2 (work center of operation 2)....
And my question is... Can I do this calculation in standard SAP? And how?
regards
Hi Wolfgang Bauer,
In standard SAP we can calculate the machine utilized for an operation. Just assign the machine work center to one operation and calculate the cost, but the problem is that this cost will be time based not with respect to quantity of parts refurbished.
So that new formula can be used as, Machine cost = time x machine1 (Work center of operation) + ......
Also you said that "In the first shift one person inputs the parts into the machine.
In the third shift another person outputs the parts from the machine.
Now the person in the third shift does not know how long the machine was running in order to confirm the machine costs.".......In this case you can use the partially confirmation functionality (PCNF). So that person from each shift shall confirm the PM Order at the end of shift. And in this way there will be trasperancy between all shift persons.
