Production Order Calendar

Hi,

Which part of the config does the production order pick the factory calendar from? I have an example where the factory calendar assigned in OX10 is for 7 days a week yet when we try to reschedule a production order to finish on a weekend it gives us an error saying "Date not a working day"

How can I make the production look at the 7 days a week calendar?

Thanks

Adeel

Adeel,

For finish date, system will look at the factory calendar assigned to the work center assigned to the last step in the routing. If no factory calendar is assigned, it will then default to the factory calendar assigned to the plant.

This message is not usually categorized as an error, but instead a warning.

So:

CA03 review routing. Look at the last step, find the work center. Then, CR03 review the work center. Select capacity tab, select detail. Look for a factory calendar. If there is one entered here, then this calendar will be used.

If there is no calendar assigned to the work center, then look at the factory calendar assigned to the plant, OX10.

Calendars can be reviewed in SCAL.
