I don't believe you need Data Integrator to have this file. For instance, my XI 3.1 FP2.2 system has the file in the win32_x86 folder without Data Integrator installed. You might want to verify the file exists on your system in the same folder.

C:\program files\business objects\businessobjects enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\icuin30.dll

If the file does exist, try adding the win32_x86 folder to your PATH statement. Maybe the conversion tool isn't finding the file. If it is really missing, then you can try copying the file from another machine that has the same patch level. Though I would be careful in doing this. If its just the one file, replacing it might resolve the problem. But if there are other files also missing, you'll want to determine why. Maybe you did a custom install and left off certain XI 3.1 components?

I added the path "C:\program files\business objects\businessobjects enterprise 12.0\win32_x86" to path at environment variable. but still getting same error. we replaced the file also but no luck.

Try downloading Filemon or Process Explorer from http://www.sysinternals.com. Either of these tools will capture the dll and exe files loaded during a period of time. Start it just before your conversion and stop it just after. Search for the file and it should give you an idea of where the OS is searching for the file and maybe what else its loading or failing to load. In the end, it looks like your installation is missing a few things. This one dll is probably not all thats missing. If you have another test or dev system to run the conversion tool, that may be an easier way to get the reports converted.

You shouldn't need the directory added to the PATH statement, but I thought it might help if the OS really couldn't find the file. Looks like there's more than just the 1 file missing.

This is the exact error you are getting?

If you are getting this error and applicaton fails because icuin30.dll file is missing it means that Data Integrator Designer needs to be installed in order to run a job via command line using AL_RWJobLauncher.exe.

So you have to install Data Integrator Designer on the same machine where the script runs.

Please let me know if you have different scenario.
