Migration of Business Content data flows to BI 7 methodology

Hi

Number of issues arise while trying to migrate BW 3.x business content data flows to BI 7.x methodology especially with repect to update rules / transfer rules .

What is the best practice when going for a new implementation in BI 7 ( mostly business content implementation ).

Should it be better to keep with 3.x data flows as in business content or should we migrate to 7.x methodology (DTP, xformations even though they are in BW 3.x methodology in business content )

Hello,

we have the same situation here.

In my opinion it does not make sense to migrate business content to 7.0. Everytime you update your content from business content it will be delivered in 3.x and you have to migrate and modify it again. And the benefit? In new developments and custom DataSources we develop in 7.0 solely.
