COHV authorization

Dear Gurus,

There is QM user,and he wants COOIS t.code ,but thre is one role ,in this role Two t.codes i.e:COOIS,COHV .

i am confimr that i can give authorization to this user for COOIS t.code.

But can i provide COHV t.code,in this COHV is thre any changes happen or it is like CO03 or COOIS.

if any changes like releasd of po or anything happen ,then i cannot provide.

please guide me.

Hi

In COHV, user can do number of functions like release, costing, complete, confirmation, TECO etc ...

As per my Knowledge, for QM User COHV transaction authorization is not at all required. But it is depends upon the role performed by the user in shop floor. If the user requires doing the mass processing of the production Orders (Release, Availability check, TECO, Revokeu2026etc) Provide the authorization otherwise not.

Hi,

Txn: COHV (Mass processing for production orders) is used for performing the tasks like putting TECO / CLSD / REVOKE TECO etc for production orders. Along with this COHV can also be used for individual as well as Collective changes (like Release, Availability check, Technically Complete).

So depending on the useru2019s role and responsibility you can restrict him for COOIS or you can allow him for the access for BOTH Transactions
