Issue creating the Root Organization

Former Member

Good afternoon,

I created the root organization using transaction PPOCE. When I go to PPOME or PPOSE and try to find the root org using hte Structure Search feature, the Selection Area is not showing hte org unit. When I try to search by search term it shows it, however it shows it as a normal org unit.

Could you please let me know what I am missing? We need to see the root org unit inhte Selectiion Area when hte Structure search feature is used.

Your help is greatly apreaciated.

Thank you,

Aranka

Yes the relationship is there and I see the other child orgs underneath.

What I don't see is the root org unit in the Search Area when I click on the Structure Search.

Thank you,

The Start date is 2002/12/01 and end dateis 9999/12/31. The day for the Structure Search is today's date.

All end dates are 9999/12/31 and all Start dates are in the past.

Aranka,

When you do a PP01 do u see all the B 002 relationships with the other Org Units displayed ? if yes then its good. I am asking this question coz you mentioned it shows up as a ordinary/stand alone Org Unit.

Make sure the View is : Org & Staffing. If it is not then change it to Org & Staffing by going to -Goto->Switch Views.

Aranka,

Check for the Start dates of the Org Unit and during the structure search.

Check to see if the relationships and the dates of the relationships are properly created for this Root Org Unit to other org units.
