How to manage consumables in Stock?


I want to manage our existing non-Stock consumables with a history and traceable stock.

Each consumable becomes batch control and is intended to be able to move between departments.

Our company is not managing the department at SAP and I am not sure how to set it up.

I wonder whether I should create a Storage Location or a Warehouse Storage Bin for each department.

Please advise on how it will be easy to distribute and consume consumables between departments after purchasing them.
