SSM x IGS

Hi Gurus,

I need to use the IGS to build some some graphics linked to me KPIs

In fact the configuration in WebDynpro to the chart is correct ( marked as IGS ) and the link for IGS is correct too

Link http://<server host name>< fully qualified path name>:4<server instance number>80.

When I click this links the message "IGS is running" appears

Until this point it's all OK

The big question is :

- Is there a specific link genarated in web to start the IGS "program" or "Graph" ?

- How can I associate the graph that I'll generate in my IGS with my KPI ? Would it be in the "Administration Tools" ?

Best Regards,

Christian

Christian,

IGS is the SAP Internet Graphics Server which is the default graphing system for SSM. (With SSM 7.5 you could choose as an option to use the SAP BusinessObjects graphing system CVOM.)

IGS is provided as part of SSM, but is not provided as a toolkit, so you could only use IGS in the KPI Details page in Scorecards or when creating Reports in the Reports tab. It would be recommended to build your Report in the SSM Reports tab, you should have all of those graphing functions available.

You can use an Operational Review to capture that Report for an operation review or you can print the graph out from the Reports tab (as long as you have been given those permissions).

Regards,

Bob
