Hi

One way you can do is, if you ensure that no postings were done for the open period.

Lock your PRD system for using by all users

De-link all your plants to your Company code to which you have opened excess periods (OX18 company code plant assignment)

Change to current period in OMSY to your company code

Then link again your plants to your company code (OX18)

Unlock your PRD system for using by users as normal

Dear Fazalansari,

go to T.Code [OB52], this error of posting period doesn't has relation to MM Posting period as you trying to do MIRO and the posting error comes, anyways there are 2 posting period in SAP FI and MM, so far your FI period need to be opened for the required month.

Hope my point is clear

Dear there two periods one of MM and other is of accounting. For MM period you can not go back and open previous period but in accounting it can be controlable. for MM period you can check through OMSY.
