Customer master data upload with DEBMAS/DEBMAS06 using LSMW

Hi ,

Here, data must be uploaded using LSMW ( Idoc method ) with the message type DEBMAS and the idoc type DEBMAS06 fron a Non-R/3 system.So, which is the ideal appraoch to do the same? Is it using one single file for the entire set of data ( or ) to use a different file for each view and why ?

Please advise !

Instead of using LSMW(IDOC method) preferred method is to do BDC recording and go with call transaction method.....

Hi Maharshi,

Use single file and configurre LSMW for ALE setup. It's easy for you to track the failures by analysing the failed idocs.

There is a chance to reprocess the idocs once the configuration is corrected, if due to that some idocs fails.
