Change password of control and SAPDBJ2EE User in MaxDB AS JAVA Instance

Hello,

I forgot the password for user control and SAPDBJ2EE user on maxDB Database.

Please note that this is a AS JAVA only installation. We do not have ABAP stack.

I have the superdba password, through which I can do the sysdba activities. Is there a way I can reset the password of control and SAPDBJ2EE user by logging through superdba user?

Can I change the password of user control and SAPDBJ2EE user through dbmcli or dbmgui? Is there a OSS Note, SDN How to guide to do the same?

Hello Imran,

try reading note 25591 again.

In these notes that you have mentioned, I can see the process of changing the password for control user.

-> I can see much more in the note tan only control user

-> from what you are saying I would guess SAPDBJ2EE is "DBA" user, see the note again, it covers DBA users as well

But I do not see the steps for changing the password for SAPDBJ2EE user. Can you kindly provide me the steps, or OSS Note to change the password for SAPDBJ2EE User.
