Hi expert,
I have to check how many workbooks and web templates exist on my BW system and all the queries for each one.
My purpose is create a document with all these information very very quickly.
BW 3.x is my actual version.
where can I found a list of workbooks together with queries details?
Do it exists a standard table?
many thanks.
Hello,
There is a simple way.
Go to RSA1
-> Metadata Repository
There, you will see a list of every activated object on BW.
Click on Workbook, for instance.
Then, will see a list of all workbook in your system.
The same is valid for templates.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Edward John

Hello. You should be able to start with table RSRWORKBOOK. Here you can get workbooks which are in active version and the guids of all the associated queries. Takes those guids to table RSRREPDIR to get the query ID/tech names, data providers, etc... then you could also take the query compuids from that table to RSZELTTXT if you wanted to get the text descriptions.
You could easily set this up via ABAP query or quickview query. Or just dump the table into access, but app layer query tools would be a lot easier.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
