How to show Bex Queries in Browser

Former Member

Hello Experts,

when i try to execute a Query from the Bex Query Designer to be shown in the Internet Explorer, an address like this is generated:

http:///irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.s...

As you can see, the server is not inserted properly after http://

When i enter it manually i get a 404 error (The requested resource does not exist.).

What steps do i have to undertake so that Bex Queries can be shown in the Internet Explorer?

Kind regards,

Tanja

Hi Tanja,

For the correct URL generation you need to maintain the URL in table RSPOR_T_PORTAL for the default portal as described in note 947148. Please also make sure that bex web is set up correctly. A detailed description is included in note 917950. Go through the note and also have a look at the attached document WDEBU7_Setting_up_BEx_Web.zip.

Best regards,

Janine

Hello,

check the transaction SM 30

Then, access the table: RSPOR_T_PORTAL

There you can maintain the Portal URL.

Also, check the note 947148.

It's very helpful.

Thank you.

Thanks for the replies,

right now i'm trying to follow note 917950.

But when i access the NWA i get an exception:

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Renderer not found for the renderable class com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.uielib.standard.uradapter.TrayAdapter

We already restarted the server, but that didn't work.

Best regards,

Tanja

Hi Tanja,

Since this is not a BW specific question, maybe it would be better to post this question in the forum "SAP NetWeaver Administrator".

Best regards,
