Delimiter in file download

HI Gurus,

I would like to download a file with '|' delimter. How can I do that? GUI_DOWNLOAD is tab delimited one. But I need different delimiter. Or else I want to know how to avoid delimiter when I download and save as text file from ALV Grid. It gives '|' as delimiter when I download from ALV Grid.
