Can we give two external number ranges for one material type

Hi,

Can we give two external number ranges for one material type; (i.e. material codes)

1 to 29999999: External number range (i.e. Purely numeric)

AAA to ZZZZZZ: External nummber range (i.e. Alphanumeric)

You cannot have two external number ranges for one material type. What is the requirement to go for two no. ranges for one Mat Type ?

Hi,

Yes it is possible change the material type from existing material group to not assigned and you can give any number Numeric or Alpanumeric while creating the MMR. But both Internal and External is not possible for same material type.

no not possible. you can give one external and one internal number range only
