Dear Experts
While Hiring I get the warning at the bottom line
"Enter Data for Payroll Past (Retroactive Accounting)"
What does it actually mean?
Even though I have give Control Records I/Ps.
Kindly explain
Rgds

Hi Kamal,
This means that you're trying to update a payroll-relevant infotype with a date which is before last payroll period and this modification is gonna trigger retroactive payroll.

Hi,
It means that period when you hire your employee is already closed from payroll perspective. For example you hire employee in April, after April payroll was pais out.
It will trigger retroactive calculation for the employee and employee's salary will be calculated for past and current period, i.e. for 2 months.
Cheers
