GR/ IR slip field to be available at Item level in MIGO

Dear experts,

Is it possible to make available GR/IR slip- field at Item level in MIGO transaction for all movement types??? Currently this field is available at header level and is a mandatory field.

Can some one through light on this? If it is possible how to go about it?

This print active check comes in handy to get printout of material document through MB90. Why its available on header is you want printout of whole material document not just line items.

You can us individual slip as the print option so that one GR/GI slip is printed out for each item.

But I am not looking for the Print option, as I mentioned it will be used for a custom developed report.

Use the individual slip as print option if you want it printed per line item, when you use this option, every line of the material document will appear separately in the report and you can print either line as per your requirement. About attaching customized report you can add the report to the output type of the report i.e. we01, we02, we03, you can add your report to either of them or create your own output type, this way when your user wants to use the customized report, he put in material document no with output type and then click execute and he will see all the lines of material document appearing, select whichever line and get the m printed.

Path to set the customized report: Spro>MM>Inventory Management and Physical Inventory>OUtput determination>Maintain output types.

Why this is required at the item level. Please explain the scenario behind this.

Raj,

this is required for generating a custom developed report, as now it is available at header level, our requirement is not meeting in the report.

If it can be maintained at the item level, then we can trace the materials as per the text mentioned in the field at item level.
