How to make EP system HA

Hello

I wander how to make EP system HA. At the moment we have web dispatcher a Primary application server and a Additional application server all running on wmware).

We are planning new system infrastractue based on HP blades and service guards(incl. Extension for SAP) . I wander if Java systems have an heterogeneous system copy procedures and wheher such existing configuration(+HA) can be handled as HA on HP-ux with service guards(incl. Extension for SAP)

They do of course but you need to have a certified migration consultant on-site, otherwise you'll loose SAP support during the migration and for the target system. See http://service.sap.com/osdbmigration --> FAQ

Apart from that the migration itself is described in the standard system copy guides.

Yes, it can.

If your read the installation guides for the specific system configuration you'll find a special section for HA setups.
