Availability check in SO

Dear all,

In my current requirement, the sales order does the availability check from the purchase order quantity and returns only that quantity which is mentioned in PO. But my requirement is to do teh availability check based on PO ACKNOWLEDGMENT quantity.

Can someone provide me iputs how to proceed with requirement.
