WBS: Tracking expense but would like to retain amount in cost center

Hello All,

I have set up projects to capture materials and labor. Once costs are booked to the projects I would like to retain the cost in the cost center it is currently in. Normally I have settlement rules to move the costs to a balance sheet account but in this case I would for it to remain in my income statement. My question is, how do I settle the project

You can settle the WBS to a Cost Center rather than a G/L Account. You can configure the settlement profile to use the originating cost element or a settlement cost element to move the costs from the WBS to the Cost center.
