Connecting SAP through Universe Builder

Hi Experts,

I have a question regarding Universe Builder.

In the below link it is mentioned like we can connect to sap through Universe Builder also.

My Question whether we can able to create a universe on top of ODS using universe Builder(via SQL)

I know we can create relational universe using Data Federator for SAP Data.But we dont have license for that.

So,is it possible to do it with Universe Builder.

Please tell me any alternate procedure for creating Relation Universe instead of OLAP universe.
