RAR Analisys differences - Wildcard in Function

Hi all,

I have a problem(obviously, don´t??)). Well, in the company where i am implementing GRC AC, we have configured in many Functions wildcards(*) for some Field Values.

When we run a Role Analysis that should bring inconsistencies it does not bring any, but when the user is analysed the inconsistencies are detected, but no because the role mentioned has accomplished with the functions. It Brings the inconsistencies because another role of this user Master Record.

This role has configured the wildcards mentioned previously.

Well, once the introduction is done, how can i make if i want that GRC whenever it founds the wildcard *, doesn't look the exact match in the roles to be analysed but the wildcard instead. I mean if the role has any values, it has to bring me a discrepancy.

Thanks a lot and sorry for my english

Hello iyanani,

If you want that for any value available in the role, a risk should be reported then please put a $ value in front of the field. For example if you wish that any value of company code (available in the role) should result in violation then in the function of RAR rule please put "$BUKRS" in the field value.

You could check note 1133589 as well.

I saw the note. Also, i would like to suggest Sap Support to include this critical matter in the configuration guide!! Many customers from my region are having this issue.

Hi,

I guess taking out the value (the "*") should solve your problem?
