No values on XML File for EOY return to HMRC

Hi all

I hope someone can help - we are trying to submit the EOY for the first time as we went LIVE with SAP last April, but on checking the XML output files there does not seem to be any data values against the employees - the values are in the P14 that is produced but are not in the XML output that will be sent to the HMRC.

Does anyone know why the values may be blank in the XML File and what we have to do to ensure they are correctly picked up?

Thanks Ramana. We've seen the correct values in the XML File now - so all is OK for that.

But I now have a ntoehr issue - when we submit the EOY return to the HMRC it is being rejected and this is because the namesspaces are incorrect - looks like we have 'old' mappings in our XI system - i.e. the XI mapping is expecting a namespace called 'EOY/08-09/1' but the EOY Report is sending 'EOY/09-10/1' - so our mappings in XI need updating

Are you or anyone aware of what OSS Note would contain the new namespace mappings for XI for the 09/10 Tax Year EOY Returns?

Could you please check my point number 3 ,if you are able to view the xml so generated in the XI system ,and that this is having the correct and complete details.

A)if you are on release ERP2005 and above,you have the Xi system configured for efiling. Yes

B)If you are less than the above release,you need to use business connector. Yes

C)Incase you are above ERP 2005 and above,the complete and correct XML will be generated in your XI system,and you can see the same using transcation SXMB_MONI.You will not be getting the complete XML in the R/3 system OK have asked our XI team to check this as I can't myself - this may be the issue - I'll then check the results on the XML file in this transaction

D)You are running the EOYR report from your production system only with the test in live checked,generate XML also checked. Yes

E)You are not getting any business errors/XML errors reported when the EOYR report is run.In such cases XML will not get generated. I'm not aware of any - in the EOY report there are no errors showing and the XML button adn the P14 button, etc. are all there - it's just that the XML on there does not have the values - but that may be answered by your point C

F)You have implemented SAP note 1400735 - End of Year Legal Changes 2009-10 We've implemented the Year End patch and are on RElease 604 Level 20 now
