PT60/RPTIME technical error

Former Member

Hi all,

I am coming up short on a problem we have with a view employees when trying to run PT60 for them.

The error I get is:

STOP: PZYKL exceeds level 3 for $ >20CC****1 PPCY >20CD

Technical error no. 56

09.11.2009 Processing terminated for EE *****

When running PT61 we also get a technical error as a Time evaluation message:

Date Messagetext Type

09.11.2009 Technical error PC rule: Nesting too deep E

I cannot find anywhere on the forums any mention fo this error, let alone what it exactly means. I only get as far as seeing it is a result of a personnel calculation rule.

Anyone who can help me a few steps further?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Marlies

Hello Guys,

The time schema operation does not go deeper than 3 levels as the coding reads there is a maximum of 3 levels. When you run RPTIME00 you will get a technical error 56 which stops at this operation.

When operation PCY is evaluated the information of the currently processed rule line must be stored in an internal table. The logic of this storage is restricted to three levels. This restriction is hard coded and there is no possibility to adjust the number of allowed levels dynamically.

The same condition applies to the payroll operation PCY.

Best Regards,

Bentow.

Hello,

You have to replace PCY par GCY.

Kind regards

Hi Marlies,

Need additional details of the log. What time schema are you running and at which rule in the schema are you getting this error?

Best Regards,

Hi SP and Sunny,

We are evaluating on an individual basis.

I have to get back to you about the schema, since I have no access to the system at this moment.

Kind regards,

Marlies
