Partner assignment as Trading Desk

Hi,

We create new deal (FTR_CREATE) and in partner assinment tab we add business partner as a trading desk, system show error message

No BP role exists

Message no. R11551

Which role required for partner assinment ? and any other requirement for assign partner this tab.

Hi Vishal,

it is possible that the error message comes from the Customizing. Check in Customizing under

SAP Banking

> SAP Business Partner for Financial Services

> Communication

> Settings for Partner-Object Relationschip

> Assign Additional Business Partner Role Categories to Object

a new record for Assignment Category TRG001 (Financial Transaction) and Application Category of your transaction (e.g. 550 for Interest Rate Instrument).

Specify here the business partner role that you want to add in the Partner Assignment tab for this application category.

Also check in transaction BP if the role is assigned to the business partner.
