Installation of the EHP normally involves lots of planning.

Best idea is to download the EHP4 installation guide and proceed accordingly. Guides have all the details of the things that need to the taken care.

    Hi,

Go to https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/instguides and then SAP Business Suite Applications -> SAP ERP -> SAP ERP 6.0 -> SAP enhancement packages for SAP ERP 6.0 -> SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0

    From here, download

    1. First Steps SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0

    2. How-To Install EHP4: A practical guide

    3. Enhancement Package Installation on Existing SAP Systems -> download the guide for your system.

Download the EHP4 DVDs from service.sap.com/swdc.

    Best Regards,

    Shitij

For installation on 64bit platform, you have to use EHPI to install EHP4. On 32bit platform, you have a choice to use SAINT/JSPM.

There's a stack xml file generated by solution manager, which is required during the EHP4 installation if you're using EHPI.
