Failed instalation of Nakisa SAP47Addon_transport_pckg.zip

Hi

We are installing Nakisa SAP47Addon_transport_pckg.zip after SAP TALENT ORGCHART 2.1 > ORG CHART 2.1 JAVA > following Nakisa´s instructions and we had the following issues:

Another client of mine has had a problem with this Transport, although they have a different issue. They compared the package they had with the SMP one and it was the same, but I'm not sure if yours will be or not because it was only released yesterday on SMP from what I heard. Good luck!

We cannot install using SPAM because was a package sent directly by Nakisa, means that we can only use SAINT.

Did you download the addon from SMP? It was released last night so it might be worth getting it from there and trying again.

These was the Nakisa´s instructions:

There should be a PDF inside the package, but the important steps to follow are the following:

1. You need to download the OrgChart 6.1 version from SAP Service MarketPlace

2. You will only install the build, BUT NOT the add-on or the transport package that comes with the 6.1 version, as those are the Ehp4 ones

3. You will then install the SAP47Addon_transport_pckg.zip, which applies to ECC 6 (EhP 0, 1, 2 or 3), as downloaded above from the Nakisa FTP site.

We follow the instructions

Could happen that the OrgChart 6.1 has not the objects.

Reviewing the log attached the problem aparently is that there are not certain objects in the material that we received

Is not a authorization issue.

Is just to read the log

I prefer to contact Nakisa directly in order to obtain a more technical and apporpiate answer.

Hi Wolfgang,

I would definitely raise a support message with SAP via OSS. If the log says certain objects are missing then there may be a problem with the package. Have you reviewed the SAP notes to see if there is anything there?

Hi Wolfgang,

I recall that the ABAP add-on for 4.7 requires that you install the transport before implementing the Add-on, otherwise objects that are required for the contents of the Add-on won't be available?

Could that be the issue you are having here?

Hello Luke,

Can you confirm if you are installing Trasnport Package using tcode SPAM before installing Abap Add-on?

If not, please follow instructions as written in the documentation.

below are some main steps

1. Install Trasnport Request (from transaport package) using tcode SPAM

2. Install Abap Add-on using tcode SAINT

3. Proceed with Nakisa Appication Installation and configuration.

Hopefully this will clear the issue.

Wow! What did your basis guys say? Did the user who installed this have all the required permissions to create/amend objects? Have you previously installed any Nakisa transport packages?
