Hi!

I have a Hana Express edition running on my laptop.

Via the web-ide who is included in the Express edition, i have created my own tentant and in it, my HDI container.

Is there a way so i can access this HDI container also via eclipse?

i had read in a question which was posted almost 11 months ago, it wasn't.

https://answers.sap.com/questions/438236/connect-to-sap-hana-cloud-froundry-system-from-sap.html

But that was 11 months ago, so you never know... Maybe now it is?

Kind regards,

Anton Pierhagen

No. The HANA Studio (Eclipse based tooling) is deprecated and doesn’t get any new features. This means no support for containers, HDI or XSA. You shou use the SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA instead.

ok! Thanks! Then i will follow the SAP web-ide way from now on.

From next week your open sap training will start, and in that course, it's also only sap-web ide based?

Kind regards,

If you are making the transition from HANA Studio to SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA, you might find this video helpful: https://youtu.be/2_P6jcbFzeo

ah Thanks!

I was working mainly in the SAP web-ide and i was wondering what i could see in Eclipse of all the objects which i had created.

So, my way of working was just the opposite.

From SAP web IDE to Eclipse.

But now i understand, i rather should stay at sap web ide 🙂

Correct. We only use the SAP Web IDE in the course.
