MDM webdynpro components.

Hi,

Iam using the MDM webdynpro components. I have created a MDM destination which has authentication as "No Authentication", then the repository and server name.

I have added the IP address of the CE portal in the allow.ip file.

But when i create a project under the MDM WD CONFIGURATOR and try to use the destination i get an error

Cannot retrieve language list from repository [null] on server [null]. UserConnectionException: Can not trust user session '<server=XYZ serverUser=Admin repository=ABC region=English [US] user=MNN>', com.sap.mdm.internal.protocol.manual.ServerException: User not found

The user MNN is there on MDM and JAVA Web AS

Can someone pls help

Hi,

Once you put the ip address of EP system in the allow.ip file located in the exe folder of MDM, you must restart the MDM server

Also the user present on EP should also be present in MDM. user id is case sensitive in MDM.

usually in EP, user id is in uppercase, check whether it is same in MDM or not

Is it possible to use different userIds by performing User Mapping in Portal when we use the MDM WebDynpro Framework to connect to MDM ?

I am also getting same error, anybody having solution.

I am getting below error while creating new WDC project.

Cannot retrieve language list from repository [null] on server [null]. UserConnectionException: Can not connect with UserSessionContext to repository <repository_name>on the server <server_name>.,  Can not connect with UserSessionContext to repository <repostiory_name>on the server <server_name>.,  Problem while creating session context for 'UserSession' from MDM destination 'null',  Can not resolve JCA connection,  Could not create a trusted connection to MDM server "<server_name>"for user ''<user_name>. Server is not defined as trusted,  The connection is not trusted (0xffaa0225)

And in MDM logs I am getting below error message.

I have added ip address of portal server in allow.ip and restarted both MDM and portal server.

Hi,

I have similar problems with MDM webdynpro components.

I've created Destination for the MDM Repository, defined a Trusted Connection to mdm server.

When I tried to create a project with "MDM Web Dynpro Components - Configuration Manager", I got an errror on "select MDM destinatoin" step:

Cannot retrieve language list from repository [null] on server [null]. UserConnectionException: Can not trust user session '<server=xxx serverUser=Admin repository=yyy region=English [US] user=GTFKIA>', com.sap.mdm.internal.protocol.manual.ServerException

Restart didn't help.

The problem seems to be with trusted connection.

MDS_log:

Connection 127.0.0.1 is NOT trusted

Audit Connection not trusted action: logon, type: failure, user: GTFKIA, repository xxx

allow.ip:

127.0.0.1

Did you configure the trusted connection between EP and MDM? If not configure trusted connection and try. You can follow MDM SAP Help guide on how to configure trusted connection between EP and MDM.

Configuring trusted connection is adding the portal IP address in the MDM file "allow.ip" ? In that case i have done that

Make sure that the allow.ip file is the server exe path. Try restarting the MDM Server.

It works now. Thanks. The problem was wth the MDM user. I restarted the MDM server and it worked.
