pi sheet - want message if wrong posting date is given while confirmation

hi experts,

i am using PI - sheet (browser based) for confirmation and goods issue and goods reciept.

i have activity type in my opeartion and i confirm it in pisheet.

now suppose only current material as well controlling period is open , and while confirmation in PI sheet if i give last years date or

any previous month dates for which the posting period is closed , the system accepts it . IN CO54 it will show termination message

due to invalid posting date as perod is closed.

now my requirement is while giving input in pi sheet itself the system should throw a message that invalid posting date.

is there any functional module by which this can be achived or any other way that be wotrked on?
