HI,
I am planning to appear in the SAP PI 7.1 certification exam this month.
Because of this I gathered the following points from different sources:
-- The total number of questions are 80
-- Passing score 54 (70%)
-- Is it mentioned in the question that how many correct answer(s) participant have to select?
-- If I have to select two correct options for a question and I only selected one then 50% marks of this question will be given to me.
-- Also have to mark incorrect options explicitly
Could any of you please tell me whether the above points are correct or not?
Also I found some sample questions at saptechnical ... Should I have to expect that the actual exam questions be like the questions mentioned on this site (of-course I am not expecting the exact questions) ?
I really appreciate if you guys have any suggestion regarding the exam.
Thanks.
Hello Ehsaan
I am unaware of the PI Certification no. of questions or passing.
But I can surely say these things -
- It is always mentioned against every question that how many options are correct.
- If you select even one incorrect option, you will score a zero.
In other words, you need to mark exactly the correct options (answers) to get the full marks for that question. There is no partial marking at all.
- You do not have to mark the incorrect options, ofcourse!
If you are going for the certification, then your Training center / certification provider is obliged to give you the exact details before the exam starts. They HAVE to tell you the passing marks and other info. So don't worry!
All the best!
Rgds,
Zub

Ehsaan - Can you share details on your certification. I am currently preparing for the certification and going thru the BIT400? However BIT400 is listed as an alternate course, hence a little bit concerned if I am using the correct training material.
Diego - Can you share what approach/material you are taking for the PI certification?
Please feel free to reach me <<removed by moderator>>
Thanks

Hi Ehsaan
Since you have recently passed the PI 7.1 exam , you will know the answer.
TBIT 40/44 is very appropiate for SAP XI 3.0 and SAP PI 7.0 . However PI 7.1 has a lot of new terminology and new concepts that are not covered by the TBIT's.
So does the PI 7.1 exam not really cover the NEW concepts of PI 7.1 but rather solely covers the older subject matter given in TBIT40 and TBIT44.

rishi
