Dear Gurus,

Pls provide ur value added feed back on the below queries.

1. can i maintain a condition type of percentage in four decimal, currently i maintain it in 3 decimal in standard.

2. My unit of measure is MMSCF and MMBTU, standard i can manage in 3 decimal in supplies, can i maintain it in more than 3 decimal like 4 or 5. (MMSCF is stock and MMBTU is selling unit.)

Pls do confirm at your earliest.

Hi Imran,

I believe you are in an oil & gas industry environment.

It is not possible to have more than 3 decimals as allowed in standard SAP.

Though it is possible though ABAP, but not advisable to do so, as you would need to affect this throughout all the modules to integrate with this change. In addition, you may encounter field overflow issue should a large amount appear in the "total" or "sum" value with inclusion of 5 decimals (max: 13-digits).
