Stock Transfer from Plant to Plant 303 & 305

Dear Experts,

I have carried out Transfer postings from Plant to Plant.

Step 1: I have carried out Transfer Posting From plant to Plant-Remove from Storage Location by Using Movement type 303 and transaction MB1B.

Step 2: I posted the document and recieved a material document number "XYZ"

1) How can i recieve goods with 305 with refernce to posted document of "XYZ" of 303 which was created earlier ?

Bcoz when i use 305 there should be some reference to carry out transfer Posting.

2) Is the accounting document is created only for 303 movement type or Even for 305 ?

If not for 305 Why ?

Hi,

I don't understand what do you mean here, " i hold the document number ".

Do you mean that you click the hold button when doing MIGO. That being the case, the document can be assigned in 305 only after posting the document created for 303.

Hi,

I hold the document number means, I know the document number generated duing 303 movement, But in Mb1b how can i adopt all the details w.r.t the same document number.

Go to MBSU transaction here u have to give 3030 document number ,year & location now u can post .

Hi,

Go for MIGO > Select Place in storage > ref material doc (created in 303) and selct 305> Post it..!!!

Similarly there should be an option available in MB1B too..

Hi,

While selcting 305 mvt type along with place in storage you can refer to the material document previously created using MB1B.

If you are using MIGO, it will automatically selecting the previous mat doc as reference.

Orelse, goto transaction MB51 and look for mat docs awith movt type 303, that will serve the purpose.

Accounting document will be created only at the time of 303( At the time of Removing frm Storage), coz, the stock is already located in receiving plant's stock in transit..

Therefore, no accounting doc will be created at the time of 305..

Go MB1B on the top click transfer positing select create with reference then select to material document then enter your material document there.
