Hi All,
We are having a problem with the datasource 0ASSET_ATTR, one of the field is the PRCTR (Profit Center) and it arrives blank in BI.
We have 2 systems connected to 1 R3 system, a BW3.5 and a BI7.
For the BW3.5 the field is filled correct, but for our BI7 the PRCTR arrives in Blank.
I have seen in the RSA3 t-code and I did a check extractor and the field is filled correctly.
I upload the data to the PSA in BW3.5 and I see the profit center filled.
I upload the data to the PSA in BI7 and I see the Profit Center Blank.
Both infopackage don't have selection data.
It seems that for our BI7 system the data is missing when it carried to BI.
For BW3.5 we use Infopackage->TR->InfoObject.
For BI7 we use Infopackage->PSA->DTP->InfoObject.
We don't use any routine mapping or start routine, and the exit it is not used for this datasource in R3.
Anyway, the data extracted is different in the PSA for each system.
Has Anyone have the same problem? Do you know how to solve it?
Thanks in advance, Federico
The language of the RFC Connection should be configured in the language that you need.

Hi
Why do you have 2 different BI 3.5/7.0 datasources to pull the data from the same source. You can either get the data from R/3 to 3.5 PSA and from there create Tranformations and use DTP'su2026.In your case you are pulling the same data twice till PSA.
If you are doing a delta load.. I think RSA7 delta que is already cleared by your 3.5 Info Pack till PSA and when you do the same delta load through 7.0 Info Pak..its empty and hence you are not getting anything.
Try doing a full loadu2026
Thanks
Kalyan

Hi
You said "data that is carried for each system is different" and again you said "the data should be the same"
I am confused....anyways, in RSA3 enter the datasource and please make sure to select the target system(your BI 7.0) and only check for the fieldu2026and see if you can see the data...do a full load...
can you also debug and see in RSA3 if you are not seeing this record
Thanks
Kalyan
Hi
I am following an example...
I filtered in the RSA3 (R3) for one of the case that I have, and the profit center is filled selecting in RSA3 each system BW3.5 or BI7.
But the profit center is empty in the PSA of BI7, and not in PSA of BW3.5 it has the same profit center that is in RSA3.
Both PSA (for each system) MUST have the same data, because they extract the data from the same sourcesystem without filters in Infopackage and the load is FULL.
I debugged and the data is ok thru RSA3.
Thanks, Federico
Hi Federico:
My reccomendation would be to start using the 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT DataSource, this new DataSource replaces both the 0ASSET_ATTR and 0ASSET_TEXT, an advantage of the new DataSource is that supports Delta Extractions, besides it may solve the problem you have right now with the PRCTR field.
Take a look at the documentation of the new DataSource on this link:
