Crystal Reports 2016 Isolation Level Change registry setting

I need to change the Isolation level to "Read Uncommitted" for Crystal Reports 2016. I have gone to this page "https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/public/en/1216415" and followed the steps to do so and added the suggested registry entrys with no success. Does anyone have any other ideas?
