RWB Payload Security

We are working on restricting access to payload in RWB (for Adapter Engine). We applied SAP Note 1370334, but it is not working. I see the actions and roles in UME which are uploaded via XIML document.

After changing the exchange profile parameter, it blocked all the access as it is supposed to.

Even after applying the required access roles (with actions), we are still not able to view the payload for adapter engine.

Anyone able to successfully implement this note? Appreciate your help.

We are on PI7.1.

    Hello HP

Check note #1162398 Message Monitoring: Securing Payloads does not work correct. If it is relevant to your system patch levels, then apply it.

    Hi Hari,

I am also trying to hide the payload in Message Monitoring. I followed the SAP Note:1370334. By using this process i am able to hide the payload in message monitoring. But i m unable to edit any objects in ID. Could you please let me know how to resolve this problem. It would be a great help for me.

We are also working on PI 7.1.

      Hello Sergio,

Yes the issue has been resolved and we were able to create the customized roles, In SAP Note: 1370334, Step 1 has mentioned how and what all parameter/ conditions you can use in creating an XML file, a XML file defines the structure and name of your role. Once you have your XML file ready execute the Step 4 of deploying the same in your system.

Do let me know if it helps or you need further information on this.
