Very slow server-connection - any hints?

Hi all,

we use BPC 5.1 on a server... very simple stuff. I have a ping of 5-20ms which is normal and very good.

BO PC for Excel works fine, but if I want to open any stuff that is stored on the server, it takes often more than 20 seconds to open/save/process etc.

Has anyone some hint?

I checked all programms running on my notebook, I didn't find anything. I uninstalled the client / admin console on my comp and excel worked a little better than before. Maybe dotnet is the bad guy here? Has that something to do with DHCP / DNS or something like that? I hope someone had this problem before and help us.
