Hello Gurus,
Let me explain the process which business is having before asking for a solution. The business often have requirement to migrate many employees from one Company code to another company code.During the process , they separated some employees from one Co. code and hired them to another company code which resulted in : the employee's personnel number also got changed after hiring them to new Co. code. Now , they require a combined form16 of old and new tenure of employee.
For example , during the tenure of older company code the employee received the salary of 3 months , and after migrated to new company code , he received the salary of 2 months. So , their requirement is to add the data of previous salaries in the new Pers. No. and to get the combined form16.
Is there any way to make this possible? Any help will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Harsh.
Hi,
Multiple form16 supports only employee with same PERNR only (but across the company code).
Another approach is to use infotype 580 ( Previous employment tax details) in the last employee number of the
same employee. IT580 data will be shown as prev.tax details in form16.
regards,
Bala

Hello bala,
Thank you very much for your answer and it is correct approach. And wanted to know one more thing from you , that if the employee is transferred to multiple company codes , he has worked in 3 company codes during the year and we want to print the combined form16 of it , is that possible with infotype 580?
Regards,
Harsh.
Hi,
My opinion is that, you may have to use the data from last company in the same fin.year (and can show the total of previous 2 company's salary in IT580). For getting break-up of IT580, you can take the individual form16 from previous 2 companies separately.
You can try with this (because, we never came across this kind of scenario).
