Open transaction code in fiori launchpad

Hi ,

i am trying to open transaction code available in backend server via fiori launchpad.

But it redirects me to gateway server and throws error like tcode not present.I have used the system alias which is attached to RFC destination from gateway to backend server

Thanks

Ensure that in the corresponding SAP GUI tile's target mapping under System Alias property you enter the name of the type H RFC connection that should be present on your front-end server. For e.g., if the RFC connection is named as S4FIN_HTTP/S4FIN_HTTPS then you should maintain the value S4FIN under the target mapping's System Alias property.

This suggests that while your launchpad is calling the backend system to show the corresponding transaction the protocol might be switching from HTTPS to HTTP. If you are using HTTPS port for accessing your Fiori Launchpad (most probably you would be) then please ensure that there exists a type H RFC connection with the suffix _HTTPS in SM59 on your front-end server. For e.g., if the connection nams is S4FIN then the entry S4FIN_HTTPS should be present under type H connections.

Did you check the connection test for our HTTP destination? What response do you get when you test the connection?

Response of the connection test looks fine. Can you also post a screen shot of your tile's target mapping showing the System Alias property and also a screen shot of the transaction SM59 from your front-end system with the HTTP Connection node expanded showing the type H connection?

Yes, you are supposed to use the name of the type H destination (minus the _HTTPS suffix) defined in SM59 as the System Alias in the GUI tile's target mapping and not the system alias defined in the Manage System Aliases screen from SPRO. Also, ideally you should have SSL enabled in the destination and provide a _HTTPS suffix instead of _HTTP -- this is probably the very reason why you see the message only secure content is displayed in the browser.
