Hello Experts,
We want to install SAP HANA Live for SAP Global Batch Traceability (SAP GBT 1.0).
We are in a side-by-side scenario, where tables used by HANA Live model need to be replicated from the corresponding SAP GBT back-end system, into the SAP HANA database (HANA 1.0 SPS7).
According to the HANA Live Administrator's Guide, SLT server is a prerequisite in HANA Live installation, in order to create table structure first on HANA schema, and then import Live package.
I came accross relevant OSS notes, various blogs, or community threads, but could not find a confirmation that SLT configuration is a blocking point in further steps of HANA Live installation.
Is it definitely a STOP in HANA Live configuration, or could we manage table replication with SDI, and then consume data in SAP HANA Live VDM ?
Thanks for any of your inputs.
Hello,
Finally we did it.
I do confirm you can install SAP HANA Live module, once you have replicated requested tables in your HANA schema, whatever your replication tool is : SLT server, SDI...etc
Regards
