I have recently been asked to oversee the warehouse and inventory teams while a new supply chain manager is been recruited. My background is more of contracts and hence I am seeking your help with how can I oversee the performance of the teams which work in this area and be able to support them and at the same time, keep an eye on processes and ensure tasks are completed accurately.
I have almost very little knowledge on SAP and am working with them to gain some however would prefer to do some basic warehouse and inventory learning myself where possible.
Could you please guide how can I start this phase of learning in SAP for warehouse and inventory modules? T- codes i need to be aware of, how to use them to run reports at a manager level and what shall i be looking for in these reports. We carry close to 22,000 stock items with a total inventory value of 128M during last stocktake.
