stock inspection

Hi, in case any roh material is found to be defctive in stores, we need to transfr to quality stock then those are subjectd to inspection. if found ok, we need to send back to stors to use. pls advise how to map this in qa? pls note this is not rcurring inspection. pls advise.

Hi,

Activate 08 inspection type ,Transfer material from unrestricted to quality.with movement 322 with T code MB!B in this case new lot will get generated with inspection origin 08, ( If you do not activate 08 inspection type system will not allowe you to do this transaction.

Again take result record for lot & give UD ,post it agin to unrestricted as per your requirement.

Set up a storage location for store items in QI. Copy the 411 movement type to a custom movement type like 911. Have the 08 inspection type activated and set up in the material masters. Deactivate QM for movement 411, activate it for 911.

When you have this requirement, use 911 to move the item to the QI storage location. This will place the item into QI.

When the material is cleared, either have the lab post it directly back to the original store location via the UD, or use the 411 to move it back to the original storage location after the lab posts it to UR in the virtual QI storage location.
