Hello,
There are 2 radiobuttons in properties tab in APO master data regarding shelf life:
"Shelf life" and "Min. Shelf life" which was changed in lastest service pack to "Shelf life exp. date" and "Best before date". What is a difference between those 2 settings? I'm trying to observe any change in a system setting one or another but without success so far.
Hi,
It looks like just a name change.
As per F1 help:
You can choose how to interpret the shelf life expiration date of your products in the global data of the product master (transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1).
To interpret the shelf life expiration date as the latest date when a material is still acceptable for use, select the Shelf Life Expiration Date radio button.
To interpret the shelf life expiration as the earliest date when a material might not be acceptable for use, select the Best-Before Date radio button.
By default, the system uses the shelf life expiration date.
Best Regards,
Ada
