Changes in Fiori Architecture

Hi! We actually have a FES server as HUB deployment architecture. This server is connected to several servers and we currently evaluating modify this architecture and that each server has dedicated FES server because some circumstances as some businesses dont want to keep this server a few times a year and others yes (different business concepts). Also the idea is to have a single access (one url, like a launchpad) and then each user see accesses of one or several of the different apps in the fiori servers. This would be like a front end (gateway) of front end. Have you seen these types of architectures? Do you have documentation?

Thanks!

Well, that's the idea we had. The only thing we want to review is to open the application in the other tab and not in another (embedded) and work the back button. We would also like the title to bring us the overview (for example the number of purchases to approve). Can you support us with these points?

Hi Krishna, thanks for the reply. Yes, its strange but the company wants something like that. If we can use a fiori lauchpad that launch other fiori launchpad we have any doubts. How would we handle the components maintenance? That is, services have to exist in both systems? Or is the service only executed in the second system (and the backend clear) and in the first one only a tile must exist?

First level launchpad would just have tiles pointing to second level FLPD. Upon clicking first level tiles, the second level FLPD would open in a new tab. So the first level launchpad would just work as a collection of links. So aplication services would be still in second level Gateways.

So you want a Fiori Lauchpad, launching other Fiori Launchpads? This is possible since a FLPD tile can launch any other URL (in your case, URL of other FLPDs).

Definitely this sounds strange and I have not seen this design at any of our customers.
