Program RFUMSV50: Error message: F7229, Only company codes without a juris

Hi,

In our Company code, we are using Tax Procedure TAXINJ with Jurisdiction code active. When we try to perform Service tax Deferment using the Program: RFUMSV50, i received a message : Only company codes without a jurisdiction code permitted. As in our COmpany Code we use Jurisdiction code, i beleive system is not allowing us.

Can some one guide will we have to use a different Transaction code or do we need to use TAXINJ without Tax Jursidiction code.

Note: Service tax entries at the time Invoice posting are successfull.

Have made payment to vendors before trying to execute the Program: RFUMSV50.

Hello Purna,

Do you have tax Juridiction code for your tax procedure? Please note

that as per the VAT configuration you do not have to use the Tax

Juridiction code. You will have to switch off the same.

Please refer the master OSS note 818732.

Hi,

Check the Control data tab in the Recon account master data of vendor. In that ensure that "Tax category" is blank. If not make it blank. and try.

Thanks for a reply. I understand the OSS note is a good informative for VAT. But my issue is on Service tax.

Hi Purna,

I was thinking about your issue and if you have tax Jurisdiction code for tax procedure, according VAT configuration you dont have to use the Tax Jurisdiction code. You will have to switch off this. Please read carefully SAP note 818732. I hope that this helps you to resolve your inquiry.

Please check your customizing settings using note 921634. I also suggest you to check note 1073447.
