How to create pegging areas and planning file entry for a new material ?

Dear experts,

We want to system auto create pegging area and PFE when new product CIF from ECC to APO.

And I investigate the same question:

Found user-exit EXIT_SAPMMDUSER_005 can't to create pegging ID at CIF new product moment, and FM /SAPAPO/DM_PEGID_SET_NETCH can be used to set the planning file entry for an already existing pegging area

which should be after product transfer to APO.

If there has any other function or method for this issue?

    Hello,

    Run report /SAPAPO/PEGAREA_LC_CREATE for planning version 000.

    and run periodically /SAPAPO/RRP_NETCH (planning file entries) transaction for new and changed products, selecting "create pegging areas" option. The system will create pegging areas for these products and will not be necessary to create it again during the planning run.

    Run periodically /SAPAPO/OM17 (Consistency check for Livecache) transaction for new and changed products. The system will also create pegging areas for these products

    Hi R.Brahmankar,

    Thank you for your reply, and the solution is very well. But we don't want to add so many Jobs into the supply chain process.

    We hope to add-on one program to process it. Could you please advise give some BADI or function to process it?

    Hello,

    System by default a pegging area will normally be created automatically whenever the first order ever for this location product is created in the planning version.

    You may check the table /SAPAPO/PEGKEY.

    Also SAP recommended to run program /SAPAPO/RRP_NETCH on regular basis to have pegarea consistency.

    Please read SAP note 2581621 - /SAPAPO/PEGAREA 003: Conflict with a parallel transaction on creation of pegging area

    2.Run report /SAPAPO/PEGAREA_LC_CREATE for planning version 000.

    3.Run periodically /SAPAPO/RRP_NETCH (planning file entries) transaction for new and changed products, selecting "create pegging areas" option. The system will create pegging areas for these products and will not be necessary to create it again during the planning run.

    OR 4.Run periodically /SAPAPO/OM17 (Consistency check for Livecache) transaction for new and changed products. The system will also create pegging areas for these products.
