Connection Issue With SAP Client

Has anyone come across this issue? and know how to resolve?

Hi John,

They revoked one of the solutions because of licenses issues.
Please check here if it is the one that you are using.

Hi Stanimir,

Thanks for your reply. I checked the trouble shooting hints you included and have eliminated the first 2 causes-Time & Network.

It appears to be #3 SAP System Down. But how do I know for sure? What are my options at this point?

This was suppose to be a very quick & easy way to "test drive / simulate" a content activation for Solution Manager 7.2 but it's proving to be anything but quick & easy.

Have you or anyone else had success doing this?

Hi John,

The best way to check what happened with the instance is to login the OS via SSH and check the message after login.

Alternatively you could directly terminate the instance and create a new one.

Many users have already deployed the same solution successfully.
