Tasklist Assignment

Dear Friends,

I created a preventive maintenance order manually for an equipment after creating an equipment tasklist . But this tasklist is not assigned automatically during the creation of the order. How to automatically assign the tasklist in the order ?

SAP CAT,

The standard system does not automatically assign task lists to manually created orders.

However, there are several standard processes that do automatically assign task lists to orders:

- orders created from maintenance plans

- orders created from sales orders

- orders created from notifications which have a task list assigned

There are also user-exits to automatically assign task lists to orders (serach this forum for more info)

Hello,

For doing the same you have to follow the maintenance planning procedure which is used for Preventive maintenance for automatic creation of maintenance object as Order or notification.

Hi,

If you are creating a mintenance order manually then you will have to assign Task LIst manually.

Otherwiise create the maintenance plan alongwith tasklist and order will be generated along with task list as per cycle.

If your maintenance order is created manually using tcode IW31 then go to - Extra >>> Task list selection >> To reference object. Then select the task list suitable to you.

Your task list will get copied to order.

If your maintenance order is created from Preventive Maintenance Plan and if your maintenance plan as task list assignment then system will automatically copy task list into maintenance order which is created through IP10 or IP30.
