SAP Install halts due to missing files 1)Secstore.properties 2)SecStore.key

Hi

I am installing an SAP CI instance on our Standby DB Server for our

production instance ECP which is up an running. This standby server only has a replication

database for our production server which is ECP. Anyhow, I am only

trying to install ASCS, SCS and CI instance on the standby server so

that i can connect to the Standby DB. I have completed the ASCS, SCS

instance install. When i started the CI instance, it asks me for 2

files 1) SecStore.properties 2) SecStore.key and these 2 files are not

in the location "usr\sap\<sid>\sys\global\security\data" folder. What

can i do to get these 2 files generated so that i can continue the CI

install on the standby server? Thanks!

You cannot generate these files and the files are encrypted.

Check /sapmnt/<SID>/global/security/data is the same as "/usr/sap/<sid>/sys/global/security/data"

You can also try to copy these files from your other machine where production instance is running.

I dont understand why you have ASCS instance since you are installing the standby system in one box(very complicated to understand this scenario).

Even if i copy the Secstore.properties and secstore.key file from the production server ECP to the standby server in the same location "/usr/sap/<sid>/sys/global/security/data", i get the below error message in the log. It keeps telling me "The Java load in database ECP/misaprepl has already been configured.<br>SOLUTION: Remove the schema and load it with a new load before you run this installation. </body></html>)." Please advise?

Can someone please advise on what actions should i do? Is it just better to install the Whole SAP ERP central system on the standby DB Server instead of just the CI instance? I
